The Artist Elena Zubenko
Graduated with honours from The Surikov Art Institute in Moscowin the Studio of Easel Painting taking into consideration of Traditions of the Russian Realistic School. A painter of landscapes and genres, her work has appeared in many exhibitions since 1987. Her earlier genre paintings were the subject of special exhibitions "Youth of Russia" in Moscow, 1987 and "Podmoskovye" at the All-Russian Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art, Moscow in 1990. Her works were also showed at the following exhibitions:
1996 Exhibition at the Gallery, Moscow
1999 The All-Russian Art Exhibition at the Central Exhibition Hall Manege, Moscow
2003 The Exhibition Artists City at the Exhibition Hall of the Moscow Unionof the Artists on Kuznetsky.
Her later work (avant-gardism and abstractionism) has been shown in the personal exhibition Town at the Gallery Lur, Moscow, 2006.
5 February to 24 March 2013 Solo Exposition at Ramp Gallery of Monash Gallery of Art.
Regular participant of the Camberwell Art Show since 2013.
She has produced artworks for public and government buildings in Moscow and other cities in Russia, and some of her works are in private collections in Russia, France and Australia.
Currently she lives in Melbourne. |
